Hydraulic Health Management supports the reliability and efficiency of water infrastructure monitoring through advanced smart water monitoring, advanced data acquisition, and integrated water monitoring technologies.
The Idrostudi way provides a comprehensive approach to early issue detection, performance optimisation, and informed decision-making for modern aqueduct and sewer network management.

Smart Water Management for Utilities

Idrostudi supports water utilities in controlling and optimising water network monitoring in water supply systems through an integrated, technology-driven approach for water monitoring. Our method combines hydraulic and environmental engineering expertise with sensor and smart data integrator solutions, field operations, optical fiber monitoring, and machine-learning-enhanced software platforms to improve system performance.

Advanced smart water monitoring for reliable, data-driven decisions

Our Smart Water Networks Monitoring approach combines advanced sensors, engineering expertise, and AI algorithms to deliver accurate, real-time insights into system performance. Users benefit from early anomaly detection, faster decision-making, and improved operational reliability.
By applying multiple validation methods, we ensure trustworthy results and identify the most effective solution for each issue. Managing the entire monitoring and analysis workflow allows us to examine every step in depth, reducing downtime and optimising water infrastructure monitoring and network efficiency. This integrated method maximizes long-term value and enhances the resilience of water infrastructures.

Advanced Wastewater Infrastructure Solutions

Idrostudi delivers advanced sewer network monitoring solutions for sewer and urban drainage systems, addressing challenges such as aging infrastructure, infiltration, limited investments, and changing rainfall patterns. After surveying over 5,000 km of networks, our proprietary near-real-time devices enable smart water monitoring, providing reliable data to support data-driven management, planning, and environmental protection.

How We Deliver Sewer Network Monitoring

Field surveys are carried out by highly trained personnel operating safely in confined spaces. Teams use fully equipped service vans, precision GPS and total stations, inspection cameras, dedicated apps, and specialized software to collect reliable data.
We then analyse the hydraulic performance of more than 2,000 overflow structures, assessing catchment areas, equivalent population, dry- and wet-weather flows, industrial loads,
and overflow activation.

Finally, we implement advanced water monitoring programs, including sewer districting and monitoring campaigns using proprietary sensors and Data Integrators connected to our iCg platform (or the client’s platforms). This allows utilities to detect infiltration, prevent hydraulic overload, protect treatment efficiency, support non-revenue water reduction and reduce operational costs.

Proprietary Monitoring Devices

Recognizing the limitations of existing market solutions, we launched a new generation of advanced in-house devices under our Overgrid brand for high-performance smart water monitoring, delivering unique features, as cybersecurity compliance, enhanced connectivity, smart diagnostics, dual SIM for data and device management, scalable I/O, IP68 environmental protection, and low-power operation.
Our portfolio includes two complementary ecosystems: high-precision water monitoring sensors and intelligent data loggers engineered to seamlessly integrate with both Idrostudi’s platforms (iWg and iCg) and third-party ones.
This ensures superior data reliability, smarter diagnostic capabilities, and greater operational efficiency
