The Water Utility company of Acquedotto Pugliese Spa (AQP) manages the Integrated Water Service cycle of one of the longest water supply networks in Europe and the main one in south Italy. AQP manages the water supply of Puglia and Basilicata Region and some communes in Campania. AQP guarantees the supply of drinking water and the entire range of services regarding water treatment for potable water (WTP), wastewater collection and related treatment (WWTP). The served population is 4 million people with about 25,000 km WS networks, 16,000 km WW networks, WTPs and WWTPs.

Among the most significant actions to implement structural measures in the medium and long term, Idrostudi has been engaged by AQP in order to model and design the rehabilitation of outdated water supply networks and expansion of new ones.
