Idrostudi develops advanced solutions for aqueduct and sewerage networks, applying academic and field-tested knowledge to improve system performance and management, in Italy and worldwide. Through numerical modelling, design and optimisation, the company supports innovative engineering practices that enhance the efficiency, reliability and resilience of water-supply and wastewater infrastructures.

The project concerns the Feasibility Study and Detailed Design of the Paravani 1 and 2 HPP, located on the Paravani River in Ninotsminda Municipality, Southern Georgia.

The scheme includes a diversion dam, settling tanks, head pond, concrete headrace channel, steel penstock and powerhouse, with an installed capacity of approximately 4.6 MW.

The consultancy covers technical specifications and the feasibility study, while aiming to limit impacts on forest land, agricultural activities, existing infrastructure and access for local communities.
